Jamaica Villas – Top Ten Jamaica Villas
Jamaica Villas for 2018. Which are the top ten Jamaica villas? There is a great question for anyone to ponder. Is there an answer? I’m not sure there is.
For instance; One man’s luxury is another mans average, whilst what one person may call value for money, another would call expensive.
How would you decide what where the top ten Jamaica Villas? Why ten? Why not have the top 5 and make things really difficult for yourself? There are many questions that don’t really have a definitive answer to them. But, lets at least try to work something out.
Top Ten Jamaica Villas on Google
OK, SEO and Internet marketing is what I do, thus this and other Blogs on Jamaica and the Caribbean. Being in the top ten, or, page one of Google is very important. People will rarely venture further than the first ten results, and, if you are included in there, you may get the booking.
But, being in the top ten on Google for “Jamaica Villas” just means you have a good website name (For instance; Linda Smith has been number 1 on Google for the search term “Jamaica Villas” for years. Much to the chagrin of the competition.)
The content of the website will also help your company get into the top drawer and, the bigger the site, the more content, the more content…you get my drift?
Anyway, that has nothing to do with quality of accommodation, service or amenities. It does however give you the impression that these are the major players and might just swing your decision when it comes to booking a villa, apartment, resort or all-inclusive holiday package in 2018.
Some companies are in the top ten because they have a reputation that is long-standing and also, they have the money to pay for many types of advertising, not just the Internet but TV, radio, magazines and so on. We are talking about companies like Sandals of Jamaica and the likes.
Does that sway your judgement? Because a company has a big advertising budget and is like dung in a field, you know, everywhere!
Top Jamaica Villas by word of mouth
They say that a picture paints a thousand words, and, to a certain extent, this might be true. But, a few words can paint a very bad picture, if chosen correctly.
I’m talking about referrals, where somebody leaves a comment or two on the Internet hubs, like Tripadvisor, for instance.
The problem with website referrals is that these can easily be manipulated and reputations are made and lost by what people leave behind on these websites.
One company I work for in the Forest of Dean, for instance, these have had to contact these hub websites to let them know people have left messages that belong to a company of a similar name. This is a mistake that is easily made but, sometimes there are people with malicious intent who would do this deliberately.
You now see what I mean? It is easy to get the wrong impression just by what you see on the Internet or TV. So, I reckon, you really have to go with the following;
- Is the location right?
- Does the resort, villa or hotel offer you amenities that you are looking for?
- What a bout the price?
- Is there plenty to see and do without having to travel to the ends of the earth?
- Airport transfers; How far is the resort from the airport?
If you get that right then you are on a roll. If a company has a bad reputation I’m sure the social media will soon be awash with enough postings to let you know. people are more likely to moan about something tha to go out of their way to praise it.
I find no problems searching Facebook or Twitter for people who have been to a place I’m interested in going and I drop them a message. If you search enough, you will get the right answers.
The top ten Jamaica Villas? Its not as easy as we think now, is it? Let me know if you have been somewhere that is truly good, after all, why not help those villas, resorts and hotels who are giving good service and value for money. Don’t make it up though!
